Crystals of the Cosmos: Moldavite & Tektite

We may know moldavite from becoming a viral Tik-Tok crystal. However Moldavite has always been in the scene as being considered a stone of great, ethereal presence. Here’s why - Moldavite first touched ground some 15 million years ago when a meteorite hit Earth. This collision liquified rocks as it landed which, in theory, is what moldivite is. In a sense it’s “space” glass, or tekitite. This resulted in an light, airy black or green stone that is boiling with cosmic codes of ancient wisdom.

The wisdom that people may seek from these crystals is in no separation from themselves - this can be true for almost anything. However, this thought allow us to begin to see why many people will label this ancient stone as “spiritually intense.”

There have been countless claims that Moldavite can and will completely deteriorate your course and profoundly awaken you. While this could be a very true case, this is not entirely moldavites fault - it is only doing what it’s meant to. When used mindfully, these stones can both positively invite great inner-transformation for your highest good.

How to use moldavite & tektite:

1. Set a CLEAR intention*

Before wearing any stone, it is best to first introduce it to your energy. Be clear what wisdom or healing you seek to receive from this crystal and then add “for the highest good of all” at the end. For example, “When working this stone stone, I intend to recieve truth about the path I am on, for the highest good of all.”

2. Listen to your body*

Yes, there will be times when your energetic or physical body cannot withstand the high frequency of these stones - and it is not their fault. This is a sign that your aura/focus is not in alignment with the stone. Seek grounding and return when ready. Pro tip: avoid wearing tekitite/moldavite during retrogrades, eclipses, or when your body is ill. Look for additional support.

3. Stay grateful*

A crystal is only a crystal, you are the conductor. Your own intentions, presence, and faith within yourself and journey is what allows these stones frequencies to be received. Remain grateful for the work you’ve been doing and all that is and has yet to come. Allow yourself to gracefully receive that which is already yours.
